The 90 per cent confidence level upper limits on the neutrino energy released by the fast radio burst sources. The per-burst limits, assuming different neutrino power-law spectra, are shown with the dashed blue lines (γ = 1.0) and the black solid lines (γ  = 2.5). These limits are computed in the distance range ${\rm d}\in [1\, \mathrm{kpc}\ ;D(z_{\rm DM})]$. The red area indicates the region that is already excluded by ANTARES at the 90 per cent confidence level for any considered hadronic model (γ = 1.0, 2.0, 2.5). The yellow area is only excluded by the soft spectral models (γ  = 2.0, 2.5). The white area, divided into three distance scenarios, is still allowed according to the ANTARES sensitivity.
