Molecular basis of vestibular schwannomas (VSs). The genetic anomalies, dysregulated signaling pathways, disrupted extracellular matrix (ECM), inflammatory tumor microenvironment (TME), and altered cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) composition that contribute to the development and progression of VSs. Key molecular events involved in VSs are highlighted.
