Tom Buckley is an Assistant Professor of Plant Ecophysiology in the Department of Plant Sciences at the University of California, Davis, and became Chief Editor of AoB PLANTS in May 2018.

Stephen Long, Department of Plant Biology and Crop Sciences, University of Illinois, is Editor in Chief of in silico Plants. Stephen has developed a range of mechanistic models at different scales relating environmental effect on photosynthesis to plant productivity.
