The cover image shows the rare South African plant Barberetta aurea has enantiostylous (“mirror image”) flowers with styles that are deflected either to the left or right. The species is dimorphic with left- and right-styled flowers being segregated among different plants. Johnson et al. show that the deflection of styles and stamens facilitates pollen transfer on the wings of syrphid flies. [See Johnson et al., pp. 1107-1118.]
