Call for Submissions
English: Journal of the English Association publishes scholarship on a wide range of authors and literary texts, and particularly encourages submissions which speak to the discipline as a whole. Our readership comprises schoolteachers as well as academics, so we provide a platform for scholars and educators to reflect on the key questions facing our discipline. Recently published work includes a guest-edited special issue on Poetry in Expanded Translation, two fora on decolonizing English studies, and a recurring 'View From Here' section that features colleagues from around the world. English is one of the few academic literary journals to publish poetry. As well as publishing reviews, we are interested in receiving pitches for reviews of recent books which survey new developments in English Studies.
