The 2022 winning paper is "Improving prescribing: a feasibility study of pharmacogenetic testing with clinical decision support in primary healthcare in Singapore" by Smith et al., which demonstrates the feasibility of pharmacogenetic testing in primary care, and lays the groundwork for a future in which such testing becomes routine.

The peer-reviewed CASFM Methods Briefs are now regularly published in Family Practice, as a result of a partnership between the journal and the North American Primary Care Research Group (NAPCRG)'s Committee on Advancing the Science of Family Medicine (CASFM).
