I have over 15 years’ experience in Law publishing. In my role at OUP, I acquire books in the following areas: criminal Law (for both academic and professional audiences), policing (academic monographs, textbooks, and titles aimed at operational police officer audiences) and criminology. I am responsible for some OUP flagship copyrights such as Blackstone’s Criminal Practice, one of the foremost titles used in research and in the criminal courts, and for the Blackstone’s Police Manuals, published in association with the College of Policing. I am currently working to update and extend OUP’s range of publishing for criminal law practitioners and for new and serving police officers. I acquire for series such as the Clarendon Studies in Criminology and Oxford Monographs in Criminal Law and Justice. I welcome new proposals and am committed to enhance the social and geographical diversity of our publishing.

Economics, Business and Management, Finance, Sociology, Criminology
I publish books in several social science disciplines – economics, business, and finance as well as sociology and criminology. Within economics, business, and finance, I acquire books in virtually all major subject areas and methodological approaches with a focus on entrepreneurship and innovation; economic history and the history of economics; financial economics, management, and markets; strategic management, and organization studies. In sociology and criminology, I look for manuscripts that are empirically grounded and make theoretical advances on a range of topics. I also publish books on theory and methods. Across all disciplines my list includes general interest titles, upper-level undergraduate and graduate texts, scholarly monographs, and Oxford handbooks. I welcome proposals from agents. Books I’ve published have won awards such as the American Sociological Association’s Distinguished Book Award, the C. Wright Mills Award, the American Educational Research Association Best Book Award, the American Society of Criminology’s Michael J.
