Announcement concerning the Journal

Until now, the ifo Institute has split its peer-reviewed journal publication resources between two separate journals: CESifo Economic Studies and Economic Policy, both published by Oxford University Press. With increasing movement to open access publishing and increasing costs of running a journal, this is no longer financially sustainable. Therefore, the ifo Institute has decided to consolidate its resources to put towards Economic Policy. As a result, the publication of CESifo Economic Studies will cease with the current issue. We are grateful to our authors and reviewers for their contributions in the past years, and to our readers for their continued interest.

Please be assured that after the journal ceases publication, subscribers will still be able to access the journal, and OUP will continue to host the journal’s full archive content in perpetuity.
