About
The Journal of Medical Entomology publishes reports on all aspects of medical, veterinary, and public health entomology. The journal emphasizes studies on the biology, ecology, genetics, systematics, surveillance, and predictive modeling and management of arthropods that cause direct or indirect damage to the health of humans, livestock, companion animals, and wildlife or that invade corpses. Reports on the pharmacological properties of arthropod-derived compounds and the use of arthropods as model systems for human disease are not being accepted. The journal is published bimonthly in January, March, May, July, September, and November.
