Range of Content

JRS publishes four issues per year, comprising original, full-length articles, field reflections, reviews of books, films, and other materials, and occasional special issues published with guest editors, helping authors to get their article in front of relevant readers in an accessible format.

As a multidisciplinary scholarly journal, it covers all categories of forcibly displaced people. Published articles develop theoretical understandings of forced migration, or deepen knowledge of concepts, policies, practice, and experiences of displacement, as well as advance methodological debates and new approaches to researching forced migration.
