Featured collections are special issues for Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Journal, which operates on a continuous publication schedule. Topics are recommended by the Editorial Board and other colleagues. The editor-in-chief typically appoints two guest editors, who determine the theme and subtopics of the featured collection. A public call for papers is disseminated, proposals are submitted, and papers are invited. All collection papers undergo peer review.
