Call for Papers: Special Issue on PHM of transportation tools: Methods, Technologies and Applications
Scope:
In the wave of revolutionizing intelligent transportation systems, transportation tools such as high-speed trains, carrier rockets, automobiles, aircraft, watercraft, etc., require extremely higher operational safety than ever. The methods, technologies and application of using Artificial Intelligent (AI) techniques in enhancing the safety and reliability of transportation tools have become the research frontier. PHM (Prognostics Health Management), which is a comprehensive technology perceiving operational parameters, evaluating service performance, diagnosing faults, and managing data throughout the entire lifecycle of equipment, has attracted the attention of experts and scholars, providing technical support for the safe and reliable operation of transportation tools and transportation systems.
This special issue in Transportation Safety and Environment aims at providing a platform for experts and scholars to discuss methods, applications of advanced technologies about enhancing safety and reliability of transportation tools, using cutting-edge technologies such as PHM. Submissions related to the advanced and emerging technologies and their applications are encouraged. Potential topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Development and research of PHM system
- Big Data Analysis and Management Technology in PHM
- Advanced sensor technology applied to equipment state perception
- Structural health monitoring theories and methods
- Situation Assessment of Equipment and Environmental
- Data-/knowledge-driven Anomaly Detection for enhancing the safety and reliability of the intelligent vehicle
- Fault detection, diagnostics, and prognostic for intelligent vehicle
- Prognostics Decision Making (PDM) for transportation tools
- Fault-tolerant control of intelligent vehicle
