All editors responsible for recommending or making publication decisions are requested to disclose on an annual basis any potential conflict of interest, including current or recent financial relationships with any commercial entity whose products or services may be contained in the journal content
The following competing interests were disclosed:
Sébastien Czernichow - Dr. Czernichow reports personal fees from Novonordisk, Lilly, Fresenius Kabi, Janssen-cilag, Novartis, BARIATEK and Pfizer. He is a co-founder of Alifert and in addition received support from Jellynov.
Jason Halford – Professor Halford has received personal and institutional consultancy fees from Allurion. He is Treasurer for the World Obesity Federation (WOF) and Board Member of the European Coalition of People living with Obesity (ECPO). Professor Halford is also on the Executive Committee and lead for the Psychology, Behaviour and Mental Health Working Group for the European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO)
Andrea Haqq – Professor Haqq has the following conflicts of interest to declare: principal investigator in clinical trials sponsored by Rhythm Pharmaceuticals, Acadia Pharmaceuticals, Levo Therapeutics, Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk. She is also an Advisory Board Member for Rhythm Pharmaceuticals and Novo Nordisk.
Gabriella Milan – Dr Milan has received meeting attendance support from the European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO) and is a member of the Scientific and Continuing Education Committee of the Italian Society of Obesity.
Jean-Michel Oppert - Professor Oppert declares the following grants from the French National Research Agency (ANR): WEALTH project (2022-2025) supported by Joint Programming Initiative Health Diet Healthy Life (JPI HDHL) from the European Commission, YAHEE project (2024-2027) supported by the ERA4Health Equity call from the European Commission and URBA-SANTE project (2023-2026) funded by ANR. He has also received support for attending meetings from the European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO).
Marzieh Salehi - Professor Salehi has received personal consulting fees and participation on a Data Safety Monitoring Board from Vognex.
