Book Reviews - 2026 and beyond

Shakespeare Quarterly is always looking for volunteers to write concise, detailed reviews of recently published books. Currently we have a backlog of assigned and forthcoming reviews that will take us through approximately Summer of 2026

Authors who have submitted or are currently working on an assigned book review should remain in touch with SQ’s current Book Review Editor M. L. Stapleton.

New requests—either to review a book or to have your book reviewed—should be directed to Jeremy Lopez for the time being. This page will be updated as appropriate with any new information about book review assignments under the new editorial team.
